Adalah Justice Project and the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights worked together to provide clear demands for the Movement for Black Lives to present to Ben and Jerry's. Pressure from M4BL was the tipping point, after years of dedicated campaigning by organizers in Vermont, that brought us a momentous BDS victory when Ben and Jerry's announced that they will be ending their licensee agreement with the company that distributes their ice cream to Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
This doesn't represent our full demands, but is a step in the right direction and opens the doors for more mainstream companies to stand on the right side against settler colonialism and apartheid.
